CIMA HOA MEETING MINUTES

The CIMA Board and neighbors meet quarterly. Each meeting is recorded and minutes provided for reference and to provide new homeowners an opportunity to learn more about the business side of the Channel Island community.

The July 22, 2025 CIMA Board Meeting covered financial updates, committee reports, and new initiatives. Highlights included a total asset report of $96K, progress on emergency preparedness and gate security, approval of a $500 home sale processing fee, and plans for new signage and lighting. Nate Hines proposed “no wake” buoys to address boat wake concerns, and the board agreed to explore signage and consult the Oregon Marine Board. The meeting concluded with appreciation for community contributions and a focus on continued safety and infrastructure improvements [

The CIMA board approved the 2025 budget and discussed ongoing maintenance, including drain repairs and gate upgrades 1 . The board also addressed new business such as water usage tracking and a toilet issue 2 . Additional discussions covered boat slip electric pedestal repairs and garage electricity usage 3 . The meeting concluded with plans for continued follow-up on several items.

The CIMA 2025 Annual Meeting included reports from the President, Secretary, and Treasurer, as well as various committee updates. Members discussed and waived the audit requirement, ratified board actions, and covered new business, including a PGE project. The group also discussed social events and held an election for the new President, Bill Nicholson.
